Terms of Hire
Our Conditions for Hiring a Skip
- No Fires, No Asbestos, No Freezers/Fridges, Level loads only, No tyres and No food waste
- The skip is hired for a period of two weeks although the hire period can be lenghtened by agreement
- Council regulations are that all skips on the road must be lit and it is the customers responsibility to ensure this is done, between dusk and dawn
- The customer is required to ring us to arrange collection of the skip
- If a skip is to go on the road, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that a space is saved for the day of delivery. A fee may be charged if the skip cannot be dropped
- When a skip is hired "off road", you must ensure that the skip is loaded safely and correctly as when a skip is collected, any refuse/waste which may fall from the skip must be cleared by the hirer. Any court action or fines issued by the local authority will be passed to the hirer
